Our body has a hormone called glucagon that is responsible for transforming body fat to energy. The higher the level of this hormone, the more fat you will burn. One of the ways to increase level of glucagon is to eat more protein. This will allow you to burn fat that was stored in your body and in turn lose weight.

Have Big Breakfast

Research shows that people that ate a big breakfast full of protein lost weight, while people that had a typical American style breakfast gained weight. Based on that research it is crucial to eat a protein rich breakfast because protein will make you full for the rest of the day.
